The young man looks back at you with a puzzled expression.
"Why would anyone ever answer that?" he asks.
But before you can explain about bravado, and acting cool, he's already depressed the red button on his device.
You hear a gentle "pop" noise, and for a split second you feel ill. Then you feel a rush of pain.
Then you feel nothing.
