Clearly happy to have company, Sandy leans over towards you and whispers conspiratorially into your chest (she's still seated, so can't reach your ear). "It could be nothin', but ah'm pretty sure I heard there was gonna be some kinda ruckus at the station we're headin' to. Somethin' about the Kalranthi delegation demandin' they're sent somethin' nice to eat. Makin' up for some wrong one of the corps did 'em."
She eyes you up and down, then continues, "Well, seein' as you're a company man an' all, mebbee it's ya'll they're sendin' along as dinner."
She breaks out in a girlish giggle, then settles down with a brief coughing fit. It ends with her just grinning at you impishingly.
"Um, thanks," is all you can manage in response.
