Ah, the good old fashioned trick of losing oneself in a crowd to escape responsibilities. Classic.

Within seconds, you've managed to edge your way into a group of creatures, many of which are taller than you by a foot or more. One has wrinkled, leathery wings which hang like a pair of sheets on branches from its back, and you find it easy to position yourself between this and the line of sight of anyone or anything outside the group.

The only problem is, to keep using this -- or any other creature -- as cover you need to keep up with the flow of traffic, and each of these aliens has a very set idea of where they're going. And they're all in a hurry.

So, you're stuck with an unknown destination.

Your legs skipping from place to place almost unpredictably, you leave the docking area, turning down one corridor, then quickly into another. The light levels grow dimmer here, and a few of your alien companions turn off down one route, while the mass continues down a different one. At this point, you have no real choice but to keep up with the majority.

Here, you can smell the distinct odour of Jolpanot pheromones, so you must be near their section of the station*. However, in the next few steps, you've entered a much brighter corridor -- livid green, in fact -- that seems to only be taken up by your companions and you.

Off to one side, you can see one of the corridor panels has been removed, and you could, potentially, sneak into there, losing the group of aliens you were using for cover. If you like that plan, turn to page 48.

If you'd prefer to just stay with the aliens until they get to their destination, turn to page 16.

* Most space stations have a ghetto of Jolpanot living on them. They have a fantastic culture devoted to developing and cooking multi-dimensional snackfoods, unparalleled in this part of the galaxy.
